Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what data the Efir AI service (the “Service”) processes, why we use it, and how we protect it. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Data we process
- Email address — to identify your subscription and sign in across the iOS app, Android app, and website.
- Sign in with Apple — if you choose Apple Sign In, we receive the identifiers Apple provides to create and manage your account.
- Track metadata — artist and title to select facts and generate stories.
- Service settings — narrator persona, voice, speed, story length, and other preferences.
- Story history (optional) — to sync across devices and avoid repeats.
- Technical data — app version, device type, installation identifier, and error logs for diagnostics.
- Payment data — subscription status, plan, and renewal period. Card details are processed by Apple (App Store) or our payment partner and are not stored by us.
2. iOS app
On iPhone, the app may use ShazamKit to recognize a track when you explicitly request it. Microphone access is used only for that recognition flow, not for continuous listening.
Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed through Apple. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status from Apple to activate your access.
3. Android notifications access
On Android, the app may read media-player notifications to obtain artist and title. We do not collect, store, or analyze notifications from messengers, email, social networks, banks, or other non-music apps.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
- We do not store your music library or audio files.
- We do not continuously record microphone audio on iOS except when you start Shazam recognition.
5. Purposes of processing
- providing Service features and generating stories;
- determining subscription and trial status;
- syncing settings and history across your devices;
- customer support and improving the Service;
- publishing anonymized story texts on our website and in promotional materials (without personal identifiers);
- performing our contract and complying with law.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers of our hosting provider. Audio is delivered via signed links with limited validity. Access is limited to personnel who need it to operate the Service.
7. Third parties
We use third-party providers for language models, speech synthesis, email delivery, Apple App Store billing, and (on the website) payment processing. We share only the minimum data required for each service.
8. Your rights
You may request information about your data, correction, or deletion. See Account deletion or email hello@efir-ai.ru from the address used for your account or subscription.
9. Changes
The current version is published at www.efir-ai.ru/docs/privacy-en.html. We recommend checking this page periodically.
